Chuck Pilgrim - Principal Architect
Charles (Chuck) Pilgrim is a graduate of The University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he received his Bachelor of Architecture degree. Mr. Pilgrim served his internship at some of the top architecture and A/E firms in Memphis and Knoxville before establishing his own practice in 1979. In addition to practice as a sole proprietor, Mr. Pilgrim formed partnerships as Pilgrim-Taylor Architects, Inc. and then Pilgrim, Penland, Cooper & Perry Architects PLLC to design a wide range of projects including single family and multi-family residential, office buildings, warehouses, industrial buildings, medical facilities, schools, churches and retail/shopping centers. In all, Mr. Pilgrim has designed over 1,200 projects of various building types totaling nearly two billion dollars in construction value.
Dale Dunlap - Associate Architect
Dale E. Dunlap attended the University of Tennessee and is a registered architect with over 30 years of experience in various project types that include religious, educational, institutional, residential and commercial. Mr. Dunlap practiced as an associate architect and project manager with Lewis Group Architects, Pilgrim Penland Cooper & Perry, Barber & McMurry among others and was a principal in the firm Guthrey & Hart, Inc. Architects. Mr. Dunlap has been involved in a long list of successful projects, especially educational and medical related types.

Bill Penland - Associate Architect
William (Bill) D. Penland, Jr. is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and a registered architect with over 35 years of experience in various projects including religious, educational, nursing homes, institutional, residential and numerous commercial structures. Mr. Penland has worked extensively in the areas of project planning and design, code analysis, cost estimating, specifications and construction contract administration. Because of his vast experience with churches, schools and multi-family housing, Mr. Penland focuses primarily on these project types.
